Instructions
For best results, it is recommended to apply a gloss black base coat using our FSC001 Black or Black Gloss FSC104 before applying chameleon paint. The semi-transparent nature of this paint allows you to achieve different color changing effects by applying thin layers until you reach the desired color intensity. Make sure each layer is completely dry before applying the next layer, with a drying time of 5 to 20 minutes.
To obtain the best results, it is essential to shake the bottle well to ensure that the paint is well mixed. This paint was designed for use with an airbrush only, and it is recommended to paint at a pressure of 1 to 1.5 bar with 3 to 4 thin layers. The ideal environment for painting is between 20°C and 22°C, with a minimum drying time of 5 to 20 minutes.
It is important to note that these paints should not be used in cold or very humid environments, as this may affect the performance of the paint. To thin the paint, if necessary, you can use Fire Scale Modeler thinners, but avoid using white spirit, acrylic thinners or cellulose thinners as they are not suitable for this paint. Tools can be cleaned with acetone, avoiding cellulose thinner or alcohol.
